Summer Learning Journey | SPCA

Here is a short explanation on what the SPCA do: The SPCA have centres all over New Zealand and prevent animal cruelty and rescue animals. There are many success stories on their website witch are both sad and amazing. The SPCA have helped many animals survive illnesses such as pneumonia. The SPCA have helped animals get better if they are horribly hurt. eg. one dog had fractured legs, dislocated hips and gravel in his stomach but he has been adopted and is in full health.

  1. Hey Willow,

The SPCA is an awesome choice as a charity to look further into. You've got lots of really good details as well, I love animals. Do you have any animals at home? We got all our pets as rescues from the SPCA to give them a new home. I have a big black lab that eats everything and escapes regularly to check out the neighbours food. (he's a very friendly dog so he's not dangerous when he escapes just naughty and a nuisance) And I have two cats, a fat ginger one and a sleek black one that is far too curious for her own good.

    See you in the comments.

    Daniel :D
